Three months old and a new view...

Lydia turned three months old on Sunday. It's so crazy to me that we've only had her here for three months. It feels like she's always been a part of our family. She's growing so fast. She can roll over now and she loves grabbing whatever we put in front of her, especially if it happens to be Emmy's hair. I can ask her for kisses and she'll smile then open her mouth wide and completely slobber up my cheek. Emmy is her favorite person in the world and they entertain each other a lot during the day.

Usually when I'm at home and look out my front window I can see our green lawn, the trees, clouds floating by, and our trusty CR-V that we bought four months after we got married sitting in the driveway. Well not anymore. As of two days ago, it will now be spending most of it's time sitting down at the office, on the CSI campus, or somewhere in between. Kurtis will now be driving it as we traded in the Yaris for a much more family-friendly van which, of course, will be the girls' and my new vehicle. We're really excited about it and long car trips seem much less daunting now that I'll be able to sit in the back and entertain Lydia so she won't cry the entire way. :) I never thought a mini-van would bring me so much joy! So, if you happen to see an '08 graphite colored Toyota Sienna driving down the road with 222 license plates, that would be us enjoying our new ride.
