Lydia Joy Hill is now four months old. It's so fun watching her personality come out more and more as she figures out the world around her. She has been such a blessing in our lives and makes me laugh a lot. She absolutely adores her big sister, Emmy. I had no idea that babies could interact and play with another child at such a young age. They're a lot of fun to watch. Lydia has been rolling over for quite a while now and started grabbing and playing with her toes about a month ago. She is rolling both directions now, not just to the right, and she loves spending time on her tummy. It seems like whenever I lay her down on her back she immediately flips over to her tummy, especially during diaper changes. :)
I wish she would stay like this for a while, but I know that it'll be no time at all before she's crawling, then walking, then life...
Rhonda, So precious! We love seeing you young moms and dads so "ga-ga" over your babies and little children. That's as it should be. Reminds us of how we were with our 7 precious babies. You're right, before the blink of an eye they will be grown, married, with children of their own. I think blogs help us be more aware of each special time to share in our and our children's (and for us, grandchildren's (30 plus on the way) lives. Love, Uncle Walt & Aunt Eileen
Kurtis and I got married in August of 2003. Kurtis was deployed the year after we got married and has served one 17 month tour to Iraq. Emmy joined our family in February 2007 and we just had Lydia Joy at home on January 26, 2009. Kurtis works at my dad's insurance agency, is working towards his bachelors through BSU in the evenings, is in the Army National Guard, and is the Cub Scout Master. We stay pretty busy!
